One of the better restaurants on John's Island. If you are looking for a non- Americanized Mexican restaurant with a Cuban twist go here. The pork and tamales were great and nothing was overly seasoned or over salty. Solid sipping tequila menu and casual atmosphere. Before I finished my meal I was excited to come back and explore other options. High quality ingredients.

New menu just dropped at Colectivo and everything is flavorful and fantastic! Really enjoyed the tamales, tuna crudo, guacamole, braised beef belly, and the spicy margarita was incredible! Service is also top notch.

Wonderful selection of dishes. Small plates are great for sharing. Collard tamales were delicious. Service was superb. Great atmosphere. Not your mama's Mexican restaurant. Highly recommended.

My wife and I had a great meal at Colectivo. Guac and salsa were great as was the Carnitas Ribs and Cochinita Pibil (pork). Rice and beans were also excellent. The flavors were very unique and complimented each other well. We will definitely be back!

We have been searching for authentic Mexican food. Colectivo was a wonderful surprise. The food was spectacular, the service was excellent and the atmosphere was pleasantly casual. We will be going there often
